Architectural Gardens met with the clients in the summer of 2011 to plan a sustainable landscape design that would work with a newly-installed heavy Armor Stone Revetment on the client’s shoreline which consists of northern and eastern facing slopes. The design was to also incorporate the existing large oak trees located on the property.
Evolving over a span of approximately four years, this particular landscape construction project in Annapolis is a good example of sustainable practice, combined with a low maintenance landscape design philosophy, that is characteristic of Architectural Gardens.
Our summer 2012 featured project was location in Annapolis, involving a landscape renovation that included a custom water feature and native plantings combined with PA fieldstone boulder hardscapes. The end result was a natural outdoor environment that is low-maintenance, user friendly and provides year-round interest.
